Based on your zodiac sign, which Hogwarts Legacy character are you?

Houses reflect players' general personalities, but using zodiac signs to determine which Hogwarts Legacy character they're most like is more specific.

In Hogwarts Legacy, the player will meet and get to know a long list of distinct characters, some of which they may relate to more than others, but by examining their ties with the zodiac signs, they can figure out which are most like themselves. Of course, players are free to mold their protagonist into whoever they'd like, whether that be an altruistic do-gooder or a destructive dark wizard. Whatever the case, players will always be most closely associated with their own character, but the astrological signs can hint at which Hogwarts Legacy character might fall into the same boat.

Indeed, Hogwarts already has its own way of determining students' personalities upon their arrival to the school. Although the player gets to decide their House for themselves in-game, the Sorting Hat will traditionally do the job for the wizard or witch in Harry Potter, declaring their faction based on intrinsic traits, values, and ambitions. Since the RPG leaves it up to the player, learning how the zodiac signs align with Hogwarts Houses can help ensure they've made the right choice. However, those looking for a more specific comparison can discover which Hogwarts Legacy character best matches their zodiac sign.

12 Aries - Imelda Reyes

Imelda Reyes talking to the player in the Slytherin common room in Hogwarts Legacy.

Aries are said to enjoy being active, honest, and above all else, challenged - making them a perfect match with Hogwarts Legacy's Slytherin student Imelda Reyes. The Quidditch enthusiast will be the one to compete with the player during Albie Weekes' time trials, and during this time, she certainly lets her ambitious mindset show. Although she's upset at her losses, she doesn't attempt to cheat or thwart the protagonist, which makes her a clear and equitable Aries.

11 Taurus - Professor Garlick

Hogwarts Legacy's Herbology Professor, Mirabel Garlick, looking at a plant.

Being an Earth sign, Tauruses are some of the most stable and grounded individuals out there, and thus they're most closely related to Professor Mirabel Garlick. The Herbology teacher is dedicated to her craft, taking care of each plant (even if they're as hostile and dangerous as Hogwarts Legacy's best combat plants), proving that she can be relied on even in dire situations. Plus, Tauruses can oftentimes have a natural inclination for gardening - a trait that Garlick most certainly shares.

10 Gemini - Garreth Weasley

A close-up of Garreth Weasley speaking to the player and looking excited in Hogwarts Legacy.

Geminis are fundamentally social beings, flourishing in environments where they can connect with many people and ping-pong various ideas around. This sounds exactly like Garreth Weasley, a character from the iconic red-headed family in Hogwarts Legacy.

On almost every occasion that the player speaks with him, Garreth is explaining some outlandish and mischievous concept for a new brew, sometimes even asking for the player's assistance in retrieving ingredients. He seems to enjoy sharing his concepts and ideas around with those around him, just as those born under the Gemini sign tend to.

9 Cancer - Ominis Gaunt

Cancers are known to be the most emotionally intelligent of all the zodiac signs, oftentimes displaying unprecedented wisdom, intuition, and empathy for others. Although Sebastian might be inclined to disagree partly, Ominis Gaunt is a prime example of such qualities. When his best friend starts to use dark magic, Ominis immediately understands that the risks outweigh the rewards and attempts to stop Sebastian. In fact, even though Ominis is related to Voldemort, the Slytherin student experiences more empathy towards muggleborns than his family and even some of his peers do, further proving that he's most closely related to Cancer.

8 Leo - Professor Ronen

Leos love to be the life of the party, and this usually means that bring a great sense of humor with them everywhere they go, just like Professor Ronen. While some classes (like History of Magic with Professor Binns) quite literally put students to sleep, the Charms teacher makes learning entertaining and engaging by creating fun games and cracking jokes whenever the opportunity arises in Hogwarts Legacy. As such, Professor Ronen naturally commands the attention of the classroom, much like a Leo gladly would.

7 Virgo - Amit Thakkar

Virgos are organized, analytical, and detail-oriented, and they also harbor a profound sense of humanity; Amit Thakkar meets all of these criteria. The Ravenclaw student - although he's Hogwarts Legacy's worst companion - showcases an extreme attention to detail in studying astronomy (which manifest as starry puzzles in-game), and he also displays a deep care and respect for others by attempting to study and speak the goblin tongue, Gobledegook. These similarities paint Amit as certain Virgo.

6 Libra - Sirona Ryan

Libra is represented by the scales, and as such, those born under this zodiac sign are said to crave balance and justice above all else. Sirona Ryan, the bartender at the Three Broomsticks, is a model example of a Libra. Sirona is gracious to everyone, including goblins, with the sole exception being Rookwood and other bullies in the wizarding world. She brings about nothing but peace and compassion to those who deserve it, while being actively cold and disapproving of those who aren't as honorable in Hogwarts Legacy.

5 Scorpio - Sebastian Sallow

A close-up of Sebastian Sallow, a Slytherin student in Hogwarts Legacy, wearing his school robes and looking to his left.

Scorpios tend to be more resourceful, determined, and passionate than any other zodiac sign, but once they've set themselves on a goal, they may exert these traits to the point of straining. This is an accurate synopsis of Sebastian Sallow, a brother who simply wanted to cure his sister but was led astray by becoming a dark wizard in Hogwarts Legacy. He wasn't willing to let anything stop him from saving Anne, but unfortunately, the sheer willpower and ambition behind his attitude left him more susceptible to a dangerous path, which can be the case for some Scorpios.

4 Sagittarius - Natsai Onai

The player character speaking with Natsai Onai about Uagadou after Charms Class in Hogwarts Legacy.

Sagittariuses are adventurers at heart, and they are always seeking out new people, places, and philosophies. As a transfer student in Hogwarts Legacy, Natsai Onai seems to handle new experiences well enough as is, but her connection with the sign is only further strengthened by her magical Animagus ability. There's likely not another feeling quite as magical as prancing around the highlands as a gazelle (especially since her mother specifically forbade her from doing so). Combined with her impulse visits to Rookwood and Harlow, there's no doubt that Natsai is most like Sagittariuses.

3 Capricorn - Professor Weasley

Capricorns are the calm, collected, and responsible signs of the zodiac tree, which makes Professor Weasley a flawless pairing. Even if players lie to her, the Deputy Headmistress continues to be an incredibly helpful professor and guide around Hogwarts. After all, without Professor Weasley's Field Guide Book and Room of Requirement, the protagonist would still have been ages behind their peers as a late blooming fifth-year student. It's solely thanks to the Capricorn-like sense of responsibility and the stability that she offers them that they are able to get back on track in the end in Hogwarts Legacy.

2 Aquarius - Poppy Sweeting

A close-up shot of Poppy Sweeting in Hogwarts Legacy looking angry.

Aquariuses are best known for their open-minded approach to life and their strong sense of morality, which is accurately describes Poppy Sweeting in Hogwarts Legacy. Unlike most others, the Hufflepuff student pays attention to the poaching rings that have been popping up around the highlands and harming precious wildlife, and she makes it her personal goal to make a difference and shut them down herself. She's willing to risk her academic career and even her life to fight for what she believes is right, and as such, she's a textbook example of the Aquarius astrological sign.

1 Pisces - Nerida Roberts

A Hogwarts Legacy character with green hair talking to Nerida, standing by the Hogwarts lake on a foggy winter day.

Pisces are giving, compassionate, and creative thinkers, and their exuberant kindness can frequently lead to them being taken advantage of. Thankfully, this isn't the case with Nerida Roberts in Hogwarts Legacy, who extends her hand in peace towards the merpeople living underneath the Black Lake. Whereas most students wouldn't bother to think of these mistreated creatures, Nerida goes out of her way to restore the relations between wizardkind and mer: a thankless, yet utterly generous and heartwarming job that's indicative of a Pisces.
